Job Title: Back-end Software Development Engineering Engineer III Location: Chennai Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office) Position Description

- We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java full-stack development, API design, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, and exposure to big data and AI tools.
- The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, cloud-native applications while integrating modern data and AI capabilities.
- Employees in this job function develop and maintain the back-end/ server-side parts of an application, typically consisting of APIs, databases and other services containing business logic.
- They work with various languages and tools to create and maintain services on-prem or in the cloud.
- Developed and maintained full-stack enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular/React, serving [100+] users/requests per day
- Designed and implemented RESTful APIs with OAuth2/JWT authentication, reducing integration time by 40%
- Migrated legacy applications to GCP (GKE/Cloud Run), improving scalability and reducing infrastructure costs by 20%
- Optimized PostgreSQL databases on Cloud SQL, improving query performance by 25% through indexing and query tuning
- Built ETL pipelines using BigQuery and Dataflow to process 1+ TB of data daily for analytics and reporting
- Integrated Vertex AI/any generative AI models into applications to automate business use cases, improving efficiency by 30%




- Implemented CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build/Jenkins, reducing deployment time by 40%
- Collaborated with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver features on time, mentoring atleast 4+ junior engineers

Skills Required

- Full Stack Java Developer, GCP, Cursor AI / Open Code AI / or any Gen AI is an added advantage

Skills Preferred

- Big Query,, Jira 5+ years experience in Java (Spring Boot/Spring MVC) and full-stack development
- Robust API design and REST/GraphQL experience
- Hands-on GCP experience (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, IAM)
- Advanced PostgreSQL/Cloud SQL skills (query tuning, replication, indexing)
- Experience with big data tools (BigQuery, Dataflow, Spark)
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools (Vertex AI, LLM APIs)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Experience Required

- Engineer III Exp: Proficient In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang.
- 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development

Education Required

- Bachelor's Degree
