About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in deploying and managing cloud applications, creating CI/CD workflows, and implementing secure branching, secrets, and environment management practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with Azure services, including AKS, Storage Accounts, Azure Databricks, RBAC, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Design, create, and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for automated deployments.
- Develop and manage deployment workflows for:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure App Service
- Azure Databricks
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Manage Git branching strategies and branching policies across development and production environments.
- Configure and manage GitHub secrets and environments securely.
- Implement appropriate access controls using Azure RBAC and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, authentication, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Work closely with development and cloud teams to improve deployment processes and automation.
- Follow DevOps best practices for security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Monitor deployments and proactively identify and resolve pipeline or infrastructure issues.
- Maintain technical documentation for workflows, deployment processes, and cloud configurations.

Required Skills

- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
- Solid working experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with:




- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure Databricks
- Azure RBAC
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience creating new GitHub Actions workflows for AKS, App Service, and Databricks deployments.
- Strong understanding of Git branching strategies and branching policies.
- Experience managing GitHub Secrets and Environments.
- Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or Python scripting.
- Experience with Azure networking and security.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical teams.
