Job Title: Quality Engineer Automation & Data Testing

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer / Automation QE with robust expertise in test automation, API testing, ETL/ELT testing, SQL, data validation, Snowflake, and GCP. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of enterprise applications, APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and event-driven systems.

Experience in Retail, MDM, POS, ERP, Inventory, or E-commerce environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Develop automated tests for REST APIs, enterprise applications, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Perform API validation including request/response, authentication, authorization, error handling, and resiliency testing.
- Validate integrations across MDM, POS, ERP, inventory, and e-commerce systems.
- Test batch and real-time data flows and event-driven/Kafka-based integrations.
- Perform ETL/ELT testing, source-to-target validation, transformation validation, reconciliation, record-count, completeness, and data-quality checks.
- Develop SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and reconciliation.
- Validate data pipelines, warehouse objects, datasets, and outputs using Snowflake and GCP.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and implement quality gates and reporting.
- Support performance, load, and stress testing and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Identify, document, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development and data engineering teams.
- Prepare test cases, scenarios, test data, execution reports, and quality documentation.




- Support continuous improvement and shift-left quality practices in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience
- 5+ years of overall Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.
- Strong experience in API, integration, ETL/ELT, database, and data pipeline testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
