Automation Tester (Chennai)

We, at MVI, are looking for experienced Automation Testers who are willing to work in emerging technologies in the FinTech sector (payment processing).

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop using selenium and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)

- Knowledge of writing Test cases as per the requirement, prepare and maintain Test Plans

- Review test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

- Participate in the test plan validation process to review functional requirements and testability.

- Identify and log defects, communicate with developers, and contribute to defect closure.

- Prepare the test results and test defects reports.

- Ensure software applications meet technical and functional requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Software automation testing experience of 2 to 3 years





- Core Java programming with SQL experience

- Hands-on experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured

- Be able to work independently as well as in a team

- Problem solver with good critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

- Valuable communication skills

Preferred (not mandatory) skills/knowledge/Experience/Quality

- Banking & payment software

- CI/CD tools (setting up jobs) like Jenkins

Other skills Required for this position

- Excellent team player

- Proactive with the ability to work and deliver under stiff deadlines

- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking skills
