Role Description

This full-time, in office Associate Veterinarian position at The SkinVet in Worli, Mumbai, involves working closely with our team to deliver specialized clinical care for canine and feline patients.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive physical and dermatologic examinations, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating holistic treatment plans, and managing follow-up visits. The candidate must communicate clearly with pet caregivers,



maintain systematic prescription writing and accurate medical recordkeeping, adhere to strong work ethics, and collaborate seamlessly with veterinary professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

- Licensed veterinarian (BVSc & AH, DVM or equivalent) with strong clinical skills in small animal medicine; prior experience or training in dermatology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dermatologic examinations, utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., skin scrapings, cytology, allergy testing), and contribute to treatment planning.
- Effective communication skills for explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and home care instructions to pet caregivers in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate medical documentation practices, and the ability to follow evidence-based protocols and guidelines.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, specialized clinical environment and openness to ongoing learning in veterinary dermatology.
- Willingness to participate in client education initiatives, such as providing content for pet skin health resources or supporting outreach activities.
