Key Responsibilities

Labeling &

- Packaging Compliance

- Review and approve product artworks, labels, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance across labeling and packaging activities.

- Verify and substantiate product claims through adequate supporting documentation before approval.

Litigation &

- Regulatory Support

- Support the management of regulatory matters, particularly those related to food laws and product compliance.

- Coordinate with external counsels and assist in handling litigation matters.

- Draft responses to legal notices and regulatory communications.

Business Partnering &

- Legal Advisory

- Review offers, promotional schemes, and marketing initiatives for legal compliance.

- Advise on advertising, promotional campaigns, contests, and terms & conditions.

- Provide legal guidance on consumer laws, food laws, legal metrology, labor laws, environmental regulations, advertising standards, and other business-related legal matters.





- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the business and provide timely recommendations.

Qualifications

- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution.

- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience with a reputed law firm, FMCG, consumer products, food, healthcare, or related industry.

Required Skills &

- Knowledge

- Strong understanding of Food Laws, Consumer Laws, Legal Metrology, Drugs &
- Cosmetics Laws, Advertising &
- Marketing Laws, and Litigation Management.

- Knowledge of FSSAI regulations and product compliance requirements.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Background

- Experience in FMCG, food, healthcare, direct selling, or consumer products industry.

- Exposure to labeling, packaging compliance, and regulatory advisory matters.
