Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance guidelines.

Monitor and report instances of non-compliance and take corrective actions.

Customer Experience & Stakeholder Management

Address customer complaints/escalations efficiently.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely query resolution.

Monitor customer experience scores and implement improvements.

Trade Documentation & Quality Control

Prepare and review trade documents as per LC terms and buyer-provided SI.

Ensure timely approval and issuance of documents before vessel departure.

Minimize trade documentation errors and delays in LC presentation.

Shipment Monitoring & Coordination

Provide shipment updates to buyers upon dispatch.

Maintain real-time tracking of ongoing and future shipments.

Collaborate with internal teams for smooth shipment execution.

Ensure timely submission of insurance declaration sheets.

LC Issuance & Processing

Ensure timely receipt of SI from buyers and verify LC drafts before issuance.

Validate LCs before shipment bookings and address required amendments.

Track and reduce delays in LC issuance and payments.

Contract Management

Issue contracts within one day of trade confirmation.

Ensure signed contracts are received before shipment planning.





Maintain and update contracts in ERP weekly.

Update shipment data in ERP after receiving the draft BL.

Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, transporters, warehouses, surveyors.

Oversee booking, vessel schedules, stuffing, dispatch, and cargo tracking.

Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping and trade documentation including BLs, invoices, COO, LC documents, and insurance papers.

Support trade finance activities including LC execution, discrepancy handling, and payment coordination.

Master’s degree (Tier-2 MBA) or PG Diploma in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or Finance is a plus.

Technical****Skills

1. Previous experience in commodity trading operations or a similar role preferred.
2. Strong understanding of commodity markets, trading processes, and logistics.
3. Proficiency in trade execution platforms and related software systems.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in commodity trading.
