Role & responsibilities

1. Speed & Service Excellence (The "Front Line")

Taco Bell measures success through Speed of Service (SOS). The ARM ensures the team hits these targets without sacrificing order accuracy.

- A.C.T. (Action, Communication, Teamwork): Leading by example during peak "rush" periods (lunch and dinner).
- Championing "Golden Moments": Ensuring every customer interaction is positive to maintain high Guest Experience (GEM) scores.
- Drive-Thru Management: Monitoring timers and coordinating the line to keep the "window time" low.

2. People & Culture Leadership The ARM is often the primary "coach" for Shift Leads and Team Members.

- Training & Development: Utilizing Taco Bells "Learning Zone" to ensure all staff are certified on food prep and safety.
- Staffing & Scheduling: Assisting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in creating weekly rosters that align with labor budget targets.
- Recognition: Driving the "Live Mas" spirit by celebrating team wins and maintaining a high-morale environment.

Food Safety & Operational Standards Taco Bell has rigorous "CORE" (Customer Operations Review Evaluation) audits. The ARM is responsible for:

- Food Safety (FSS): Ensuring all "Make Line" temperatures are logged and that the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) method is strictly followed.
- Cleanliness: Maintaining the "Total Store Clean" standard, including the dining area, restrooms, and parking lot.
- Inventory Management: Counting stock, managing truck deliveries, and minimizing "Food Variance" (waste).

4. Financial Accountability

- P&L; Awareness: Understanding the Profit and Loss statement to help control controllable costs like labor and food waste.
- Cash Handling: Overseeing drawer counts, protected drops, and ensuring all financial policies are followed to prevent loss.
- Sales Growth: Executing local store marketing and ensuring staff are "upselling" (e.g., suggesting a drink upgrade or a side of Cinnabon Delights).
