Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Service Manager in managing day-to-day service department operations.

- Monitor vehicle service, repair and maintenance activities to ensure timely delivery.

- Allocate jobs to Service Advisors and Technicians based on workload and expertise.

- Ensure proper diagnosis and quality repair of vehicles.

- Monitor

Workshop Productivity, Efficiency, Labour Sales and Customer Satisfaction

.

- Handle customer complaints and ensure quick resolution of service-related issues.

- Monitor

Job Cards, estimates, approvals, billing and vehicle delivery processes.

- Coordinate with Parts, Sales, Warranty and other departments for smooth operations.

- Ensure warranty claims and related documentation are completed properly and on time.

- Monitor workshop manpower, attendance, performance and productivity.

- Conduct regular follow-ups with Service Advisors and technicians regarding pending jobs.





- Ensure compliance with company/OEM service processes, SOPs and safety standards.

- Prepare and review daily/monthly service department

MIS reports and KPIs

- Support the Service Manager in achieving monthly revenue and customer satisfaction targets.

- Maintain proper housekeeping, safety and discipline within the workshop.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of automobile service and workshop operations

- Leadership and team-management ability.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Knowledge of MS Excel and service/workshop management systems.

- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
