Position: Assistant Manager / DM Plant HR

Location: Kharagpur, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Plant HR function and manage day-to-day HR operations.
- Handle Industrial Relations (IR), employee grievances, discipline and employee engagement.
- Drive end-to-end plant recruitment based on manpower requirements, including white-collar, blue-collar and contractual manpower.
- Manage manpower planning, deployment, attendance, employee services and HR administration.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements and factory regulations.
- Handle Labour/Factory Department inspections, audits and local government liaisoning.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of HR policies, systems and processes at the plant.
- Prepare and monitor HR MIS covering manpower, absenteeism,



attrition, employee cost, overtime and other key HR metrics.
- Drive employee engagement, welfare and HR initiatives to maintain a positive work setting.
- Coordinate with Plant Operations, Finance, EHS and other functions on workforce and employee-related matters.
- Support performance management, training and development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for manpower productivity and cost optimization.
- Should have handled workforce of 500+ employees

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- MSW / MBA in HR.
- Minimum 10+years in Plant HR & IR activates.
