Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance will manage day-to-day finance operations, including general accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting for the Mumbai office. This role will support month-end and year-end closing activities, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards.

The individual will coordinate with cross-functional teams for invoice processing, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and audit requirements, while maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. This is a contract,



on-site role based in Goregaon, requiring regular collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and performance tracking.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes, invoice management, vendor coordination, and revenue recognition.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to Indian financial and accounting standards.
- Ability to use ERP systems and finance tools; advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with business analytics are preferred.
- 5–6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a technology, SaaS, or quick-growing startup environment.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent academic background.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative on-site environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance teams.
