Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ASM (1st Line) role in the Cardio-Diabetic Division, based in Bengaluru. The ASM will be responsible for driving pharmaceutical sales in the cardiovascular and diabetic segment, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Day-to-day activities include planning and executing territory-wise business strategies, overseeing field operations, and supporting team members through coaching, joint field work, and performance reviews. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, managing key accounts,



monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ASM will collaborate with regional leadership and marketing teams to implement promotional initiatives and contribute to sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Pharmaceutical Sales and Cardio-Diabetic therapy area knowledge, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in CVD (cardiovascular) products.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Business Planning skills, including territory management, target achievement, and data-driven decision making.
- Candidates should possess Account Management and relationship-building skills to manage key healthcare professionals and institutions effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation, and team coordination abilities.
- B.Pharm or B.Sc. degree is mandatory; additional certifications in pharma marketing or sales management are an advantage.
- Proven experience as a first-line manager or senior medical representative handling a team in the cardio-diabetic segment is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in basic MS Office tools, and comfort with digital reporting platforms.
- Ability to work in the field extensively, adapt to dynamic market conditions, and uphold ethical, compliant promotional practices.
