Role Description The ASIC/SoC/IP Design Verification role at SEMI LEAF is a full-time hybrid position based in Bengaluru South, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the professional will develop and execute verification plans, write test cases, create and maintain testbenches, and perform simulation-based verification for complex ASIC, SoC, and IP designs.

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with design, architecture, and firmware teams to understand specifications, identify corner cases, and ensure functional coverage goals are met. The role also involves analyzing verification results, debugging issues, documenting findings, and contributing to continuous improvement of verification methodologies and flows.



Participation in design and verification reviews and alignment with project timelines and quality standards are integral to the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Research to understand system requirements, specifications, and verification strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to work effectively with design tools, schematics, and verification environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphic Design and Graphics to visualize complex data, create clear documentation, and support technical presentations when needed.
- Solid knowledge of ASIC/SoC/IP design and verification concepts, including RTL, testbenches, simulation, coverage, and debugging.
- Experience with industry-standard verification tools and languages (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM, simulation and waveform tools).
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in semiconductor or VLSI design verification projects is highly beneficial.
