Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Articled Trainee / Semi-Qualified professional located in Bengaluru North. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, internal audits, and assurance engagements under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing working papers, compiling and analyzing financial data, supporting direct and indirect tax computations, and assisting with return filings and documentation.
The role also includes conducting basic research on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters, preparing reports and presentations for clients, and maintaining accurate records and workpapers.
The Articled
Trainee / Semi-Qualified professional will collaborate with colleagues, participate in client meetings,
and support risk management and business consulting assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be pursuing or have partially completed professional qualifications such as CA (Articled Trainee / Semi-Qualified), with a strong foundation in accounting and auditing principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial accounting, auditing procedures, and basic taxation (direct and indirect), including exposure to statutory audits and tax filings.
- Candidates should have proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting or ERP software, with the ability to prepare schedules, reconciliations, and analytical reports.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and work collaboratively within a team.
- Candidates should be willing to learn, adapt to evolving regulations and standards, manage deadlines, and maintain high ethical and qualified standards.
- Prior internship or work experience in an audit or accounting firm is an advantage; familiarity with Indian tax and corporate laws will be beneficial.
