Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end collections across assigned districts.

- Manage a team of Collection Managers, Collection executives, Collection Agencies, and Tele-callers.

- Monitor bucket-wise delinquency and drive recovery strategies.

- Conduct regular field visits, review difficult cases, and enable closures.

- Review daily/weekly MIS to track roll rates and NPA movement.

- Allocate and monitor caseloads for agencies & in-house team.

- Implement corrective actions for high-risk portfolios.

- Ensure compliance with RBI Fair Practices Code and internal collection policies.

- Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Legal & Sales teams for smoother resolutions.

- Recruit, train, motivate, and appraise field teams to improve productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Collections (NBFC/BFSI preferred).

- Proven experience handling large teams and multiple locations.

- Robust understanding of field collections, skip tracing, repossession, agency management, and settlement negotiation.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in Excel, portfolio analytics, and MIS tools.
