About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Architect / Designer to support ongoing airport food and beverage development projects. The successful candidate will create photorealistic renderings, architectural layouts, and comprehensive design documentation for restaurant and food service concepts submitted in response to airport Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

This role will be instrumental in developing compelling visual concepts and professional design packages that communicate the proposed customer experience, functionality, brand vision, and architectural quality of restaurant and food service spaces.

The ideal candidate combines strong architectural and technical skills with expertise in 3D modeling, architectural visualization, and restaurant/hospitality design. The ability to work independently, incorporate feedback quickly, manage multiple projects, and meet tight RFP deadlines is essential.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in restaurant, hospitality architecture, architectural visualization, or a closely related field.




- Expert-level proficiency in 3D modeling and architectural visualization software such as Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, or comparable tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating photorealistic architectural renderings and technical drawings.
- Solid technical knowledge of CAD, BIM, and architectural documentation standards.
- Portfolio demonstrating restaurant, food hall, food court, hospitality, or similar architectural design projects with high-quality renderings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to respond effectively to feedback and complete multiple design revisions.

Responsibilities

1. Design and Rendering Development

- Create high-quality, photorealistic architectural renderings of proposed restaurant, food hall, and food service spaces from multiple perspectives.
- Develop detailed restaurant layouts that demonstrate efficient flow, functionality, circulation, and space utilization.
- Produce elevation renderings showing facades, wall treatments, architectural features, and design details.
- Create interior renderings that effectively communicate customer experience, lighting, finishes, materials, and overall ambiance.
- Produce renderings from various viewpoints, including street-level, aerial, entry, and customer perspectives.




- Develop materials boards presenting finishes, colors, textures, fixtures, and material selections for each project.
- Create 3D video renderings, walkthroughs, flyovers, or animations when required.

1. Architectural Documentation

- Prepare accurate technical drawings and architectural documentation to support design concepts and RFP submissions.
- Develop CAD and BIM documentation in accordance with applicable architectural standards.
- Ensure drawings, renderings, layouts, and presentation materials are accurate, consistent, and professionally formatted.
- Translate conceptual designs into clear and presentation-ready documentation.

1. Collaboration and Communication

- Work closely with project stakeholders to understand brand vision, operational requirements, project objectives, and design constraints.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout the design and development process.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback and revise designs through multiple iterations.
- Communicate design concepts, recommendations, and technical considerations clearly.
- Deliver design files, renderings, and materials boards in formats suitable for professional RFP submissions and presentations.

1. Project Management

- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously at different stages of development.
- Prioritize tasks based on project requirements and RFP submission deadlines.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design quality and accuracy.
- Track design revisions, deliverables, and project requirements.
- Work independently while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and potential challenges.
