Role Description The AR Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at AINU’s Hyderabad facility. This role oversees the accounts receivable function, including timely invoicing, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring accurate posting of payments in alignment with hospital finance policies. The AR Manager will manage credit control processes, follow up on pending dues, reconcile patient and insurance accounts, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing disputes.
The role includes preparing AR reports and dashboards, analyzing collection trends, supporting internal and external audits, and recommending process improvements to enhance cash flow and reduce bad debts.
The AR Manager will also guide and supervise AR team members, ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, and maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles, preferably within healthcare or hospital revenue cycle management.
- Hands-on experience with invoicing processes, billing systems, and reconciliation of patient, corporate, and insurance accounts.
- Expertise in credit management, including setting credit limits, monitoring aging reports, and driving collections.
- Proficiency with ERP/ oracle , hospital management systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA inter, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or revenue cycle management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to ethical financial practices, patient confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
