Duties & Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, prepares Engineering drafting & construction drawings of basic complexity derived from intelligent models, CADD, Civil3D, redline markups, charts, tables, and/or electronic formats such as PDF and verbal instructions. Applies standard techniques per the firms graphic standards and any other project specific requirements. Utilizes information from technical manuals in the preparation of design drawings, intelligent models and construction drawings.

Drawing Development

Under general supervision, prepares basic to moderately complex engineering and construction drawings using intelligent modeling and/or CADD / Civil 3D which may include multiple views, detail drawings,



general arrangement/layout drawings through proper translation of level of design (LOD) definitions as applicable. Utilizes information from technical manuals in the preparation of design drawings, intelligent models and construction drawings.

Drawing Support

Performs CADD/technical support tasks such as preparing CAD line work, verifying drawings, plotting drawings, preparing transmittals, preparing overnight packages, file management and/or filing prints, distributing drawings, making straightforward calculations, and coordinating specifications with drawings, etc.

Engineering Support

Performs related technical support tasks such as simple calculations. Working on CIVIL3D tool.

Performs other duties as required.

Skills & Abilities

Basic Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting civil 3D & AutoCAD.

Basic Knowledge of Civil engineering principles of design.

Demonstrated ability to be a team player and contributor to the overall team.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office for design related tasks primarily within the AutoCAD environment.
