ZICA Pune is looking for an experienced and industry-oriented Animation & VFX Faculty to train students in skilled animation and visual effects workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical, industry-oriented training in Animation and VFX.
- Teach students through hands-on projects, assignments and production-based exercises.
- Guide students in developing portfolios and showreels.
- Conduct demonstrations and workshops on relevant software and production techniques.
- Mentor students on creative problem-solving, workflow and industry expectations.
- Stay updated with current industry practices, emerging technologies and AI-enabled creative workflows.
- Support student projects and help improve their technical and creative output.
Preferred Skills Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- 2D / 3D Animation
- 3D Modelling
- Texturing & Materials
- Lighting & Rendering
- Rigging
- VFX
- Compositing
- Motion Graphics
- Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro / Photoshop
- Autodesk Maya / 3ds Max / Blender or equivalent
- AI tools and AI-assisted creative workflows
What We Look For
- Strong practical knowledge of Animation and/or VFX.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Industry experience, freelance production experience or a strong portfolio/showreel will be an advantage.
- Candidates who can teach one or more specialisations are welcome to apply.
Location: Pune Employment: Full Time / Part Time options may be considered depending on experience and expertise.
