STRAVISE PARTNERS PRIVATE LIMITED
Operator-led Finance, Capital & Governance Advisory
CAREER OPPORTUNITY · BENGALURU
Analyst – CFO Office
Fractional CFO Practice | Stravise Partners Private Limited
ABOUT STRAVISE PARTNERS
Stravise Partners is a boutique advisory firm built to help founders, promoters and growth-stage businesses become institutional-grade — investor-ready, lender-confident and board-aligned. We sit at the intersection of strategy, finance, capital and governance, partnering with our clients the way a seasoned CFO would: with skin in the game, depth of insight and a quiet obsession for getting the numbers right.
Our Fractional CFO practice is the engine room of this work — where clean accounting becomes the foundation for capital, credibility and scale. Within that practice, this is a dedicated analytical seat: the role that turns numbers into the insight a CFO carries into the room.
THE ROLE
As Analyst – CFO Office, you are the analytical backbone of our Fractional CFO engagements. You take the financials our controllership team closes, and turn them into the management reporting, analysis, forecasts and diligence material that drive client decisions and partner conversations.
This is deliberately a build-and-analyse role, not book-keeping one — and it is worth being exact about how it sits within the team:
— Our controllership lead closes the books, runs month-end and owns the controllership and compliance backbone for client engagements.
— The Partner and Engagement Managers hold the client relationship and lead client and board conversations. You prepare them to walk into those rooms sharp, with the numbers and the story already worked out.
— You own the analytical layer in between — the MIS, the variance commentary, the cash-flow and forecasting models, and the lender and investor diligence packs that make our work institutional-grade.
This means you can pour your energy into analysis and craft rather than chasing entries or managing client expectations day-to-day. Over time, as you build trust and judgment, the role is designed to grow toward greater client exposure and ownership — but the early focus is unambiguously on the quality of the thinking and the deliverable.

REPORTING TO
Partner / Engagement Manager – Fractional CFO Practice
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGEMENT REPORTING & MIS
— Build and refresh monthly MIS packs covering revenue, margins, working capital, burn,
runway and the operating metrics that matter to each client's business.
— Translate raw numbers into clear commentary — variance against budget, trend reads and early-warning indicators a founder or board can act on.
— Prepare the Partner and Engagement Managers for client and board meetings: distil each pack down to what matters, the key risks, and the questions worth asking.
ANALYSIS, FORECASTING & CASH FLOW
— Own the analytical models that run across our engagements — rolling cash-flow forecasts, budgets, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
— Maintain these as living models, refreshed on a regular cadence, and interrogate them — surfacing issues early rather than reporting them after the fact.
— Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning cycles in close coordination with the controllership team and Engagement Managers.
LENDER & INVESTOR DILIGENCE SUPPORT
— Assemble lender and investor reporting and diligence material — data rooms, information memoranda, diligence responses and quarterly review packs.
— Bring structure and polish to capital-facing deliverables, to the standard expected of a top-tier advisory firm.
READING THE FINANCIALS CRITICALLY
— Work from financials closed by our controllership team — and read them critically: sanity-check the numbers, spot inconsistencies, and flag anything that looks off before building analysis on top of it.
— Maintain enough command of accounting fundamentals to know when a number does not look right and to ask the right question.
PRACTICE BUILDING
— Contribute to internal templates, model libraries, checklists and knowledge notes that make the practice sharper and more repeatable.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
— Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter cleared) is welcome; we are equally open to strong B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) candidates with genuine analytical craft.
— 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, audit, finance operations, investment / transaction support or controllership — ideally across multiple industries or clients.
— Prior experience in a CA firm, Big 4, advisory / consulting, startup finance team, IB / transaction-advisory desk or shared-services environment will be viewed favourably.
TECHNICAL STRENGTH
— Confident reading Profit & Loss,
Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements — able to spot inconsistencies, gaps and red flags without prompting.
— Strong financial modelling and analysis: three-statement logic, forecasting, cash-flow modelling, scenario and variance analysis.
— Intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel (lookups, pivots, dynamic models); working comfort with MIS / dashboard tools is a plus.
— Working knowledge of Indian GAAP / Ind AS, GST, TDS and Income Tax concepts — enough to read closed financials critically. (Day-to-day compliance and book closure sit with our controllership team.)
MINDSET & MAKE-UP
— Ownership: treats every client's numbers as if they were their own, and stands behind every deliverable that leaves the desk.
— Operator's instinct: knows the difference between a one-time model and a model a business is actually run on — and builds for the latter.
— Rigour: a quiet, almost stubborn insistence on getting the numbers right, the first time.
— Composure: comfortable working across multiple clients, deadlines and stakeholders without losing the thread.
— Settled ambition: content to be the analytical engine behind the Partner today, while building toward greater ownership over time.
— Commitment: comfortable with a 6-day work week and the pace of a growing advisory firm.
WHY STRAVISE
— Work directly alongside Partners with deep CFO experience across Reliance, ITC, Aditya Birla, AXA and high-growth startups — and learn the craft of finance leadership by proximity, not theory.
— Genuine exposure to founder-led businesses, capital conversations, lender discussions and governance design — the kind of breadth rarely available this early in a career.
— A culture that rewards craft, ownership and clarity over hierarchy; a small team where what you do is visible, valued and consequential.
— A defined growth path — from Analyst toward Senior Analyst and Engagement Manager — supported by structured mentoring, review and increasing client ownership as you earn it.
