Job Summary

Rio Hospital for Women and Children is looking for a responsible and experienced Ambulance Driver to provide protected and timely transportation of patients while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive the hospital ambulance safely and responsibly.
- Transport patients during emergency and routine transfers.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls.
- Ensure the ambulance is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.
- Assist patients and attendants during boarding and transfer when required.
- Coordinate with hospital staff during patient transfers.
- Follow traffic rules, hospital safety policies, and procedures.




- Maintain vehicle and trip records.

Qualification & Experience
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Heavy Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Previous ambulance driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Thanjavur and surrounding areas.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights and emergencies.
- Responsible, punctual, and courteous attitude.
