Role & responsibilities

- End-to-end handling of tendering and bidding activities for Transmission Line & Substation projects.

- Review NIT/RFQ/RFP, technical specifications, BOQ, drawings, GCC/SCC and tender conditions.

- Prepare technical & commercial bids, tender compliance sheets, deviations and pre-bid queries.

- Coordinate with Engineering, SCM, Commercial, Finance and Project teams for costing and bid preparation.

- Preparation of BOQ analysis, quantity take-off, rate analysis, project costing and pricing.

- Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.

- Identify technical, commercial and contractual risks and support management in pricing and bid/no-bid decisions.

- Participate in pre-bid meetings, client clarifications and post-bid negotiations.





- Maintain tender database, market rates and historical project cost benchmarks.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech Electrical / Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.

- 8–13 years of experience in Tendering / Estimation / Bidding in Transmission Lines, Substations or Power EPC Projects.

- Exposure to 132kV / 220kV / 400kV / 765kV / 800kV projects will be an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of BOQ, Costing, Estimation, Rate Analysis, Tender Documentation and Contract Conditions.

- Valuable communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
