Company Description Wildlife Survival Alliance Foundation India is a not-for-profit organization registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, focused on the conservation of turtles and other lesser-known aquatic wildlife such as dolphins, gharials, and muggers. The organization leads state-of-the-art conservation, research, and community outreach programs to protect these species and their habitats across India. WSA works closely with policymakers to raise awareness about threatened wildlife resources and to support evidence-based conservation measures.
In partnership with the Government of India and State Forest Departments, WSA spearheads major projects in key Turtle Priority areas including National Chambal Sanctuary, Terai Arc Landscape, Kaziranga National Park, and Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. These flagship regional centers conduct in-situ conservation activities, maintain assurance colonies, and manage conservation breeding programs.
Role Description The Administrative Officer is a full-time, in office role based in Lucknow, responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the organization’s office and project support functions. This role oversees general administrative activities such as managing office supplies, maintaining records and databases, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
The Administrative
Officer will assist project teams with documentation, travel arrangements, logistical planning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role includes responding to inquiries, providing courteous and timely support to partners and visitors, and maintaining organized filing and reporting systems.

Officer will also support basic finance and HR administration tasks, help implement organizational policies and procedures, and contribute to a professional,
inclusive, and efficient workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage general administration and office operations, including record-keeping and coordination of daily activities.
- Assorted Admin duties and compliances related with project management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, partners, visitors, and government or community stakeholders.
- Experience in providing administrative assistance, including scheduling, documentation, and logistical support for meetings and travel.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and problem-solving.
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office or equivalent), email, and online collaboration tools.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in administration, management, commerce, social sciences, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the non-profit, conservation, or environmental sector is an advantage, as is familiarity with basic finance and HR support.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to an inclusive and respectful workplace.
Emolument-Rs 31,000 plus 9 percent HRA (Rs 33,790/) Y1 with subsequent annual increment | Location of Posting- Lucknow
