Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 4–5 years of experience in the building, construction, or infrastructure industry. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, project-wise accounts, vendor and contractor payments, GST/TDS compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting entries.
- Handle purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
- Maintain project-wise and site-wise accounts.
- Verify contractor, subcontractor, vendor and supplier bills.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliation.
- Handle petty cash and daily expense records.
- Check invoices, work orders, bills and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of project expenses and cost statements.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance related to accounting.
- Assist in GST/TDS reconciliation and filing-related work.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports,



expense statements and cash-flow reports.
- Coordinate with Project, Purchase, HR and Site teams for accounts-related matters.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and other external parties.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and management review.
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing and finalisation of accounts.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Hands-on experience in Tally / Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in construction/project accounting will be preferred.
- Knowledge of contractor/vendor billing and project expenses.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Candidate

Candidate with 4–5 years of relevant experience in Building, Construction, Infrastructure, Real Estate or EPC industry will be preferred.
