An experienced Construction Accountant manages specialized financial tasks for building projects. They track job costs, handle revenue recognition, and prepare budgets to ensure projects stay profitable.
- Track job costs and analyze budget variances
- Manage subcontractor billings, change orders, and retainage
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable specific to projects
- Prepare financial statements and cash flow estimates
- Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of construction industry experience
- Strong knowledge of job cost accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
