Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Hospital Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, billing, statutory compliances, and reporting for our hospital.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment, with strong knowledge of GST, TDS, billing, reconciliations, and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the hospital.
- Maintain accurate cash, bank, purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries.
- Handle hospital billing, receipts, payments, and collections.
- Maintain proper records of hospital expenses, vendor payments, and outstanding amounts.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation regularly.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for timely collections.
- Verify invoices, bills, purchase documents, and supporting vouchers.
- Handle GST-related accounting and compliance, including:
- GSTR-1
- GSTR-3B
- GST reconciliation
- Purchase/input tax credit records
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, accounting, and related compliance.




- Maintain proper documentation for statutory and financial audits.
- Coordinate with CA / auditors / management regarding accounting and compliance matters.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and supporting documents.
- Assist management with financial statements, MIS, and other accounting reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of hospital financial information.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and financial controls.

Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Hospital/healthcare accounting experience will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Strong knowledge of Tally / accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliation, billing, and ledger management.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in hospital, healthcare, clinic, diagnostic centre, or similar healthcare organizations will be preferred.
