What you'll do

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end category performance, including assortment planning, vendor management, pricing, promotions, marketing and inventory optimization to drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the assigned category P& L (sales, margin, growth) Develop and optimize product assortment based on market trends and customer demand Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key suppliers/vendors Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms with partners Plan and execute promotions, discounts, and marketing activities Monitor inventory levels,



ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing aging/overstock Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and competition to drive category strategy Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, operations) for seamless execution Track key KPIs like sell-through, margin %, stock cover, and availability What you'll need:

Required Skills -

1–4 years of experience in retail buying/category management/e-commerce Strong analytical and negotiation skills Experience with assortment planning and inventory management Proficiency in Excel/SQL/data analysis tools is a plus Good understanding of market trends and consumer behavior Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Preferred Skills -

Experience in FMCG preferable not required Familiarity with online marketplaces (e.g., Flipkart, Amazon, Blinkit) Ability to work in a quick-paced, target-driven environment Who will excel?
