About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Intern to join our team in Navi Mumbai.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong career in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting and Accounts Operations.

The candidate will get practical exposure to the complete day-to-day accounting and finance function of a business and will work on actual financial processes, records and reports.

Key Responsibilities The intern will be involved in:

- Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
- Recording and maintaining financial transactions
- General ledger and subsidiary ledger management
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Invoice generation and monthly billing
- Vendor bills and payment tracking
- Customer invoicing and receivables follow-up
- Expense management and expense accounting
- Bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation
- Maintaining accounting vouchers and supporting documents
- Account reconciliation and outstanding analysis
- Financial statement preparation
- Assisting with Profit & Loss (P&L;) preparation
- Assisting with Balance Sheet preparation
- Revenue and expense analysis
- Cash flow monitoring and analysis
- Working capital tracking
- Financial data entry and verification
- Preparation of MIS reports
- Monthly financial reporting and management reporting
- Month-end accounting and closing activities
- Identifying accounting discrepancies and assisting with corrections
- Maintaining accurate books of accounts
- Supporting audit-related requirements
- Assisting with taxation and statutory accounting documentation
- Financial analysis and interpretation of accounting data
- Maintaining confidential financial and accounting information
