Position: Accountant

Location: Mahim (West), Mumbai 400016

Experience: 2-5 Years

Salary: 20,000 25,000 per month

Working Hours: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records in Tally Prime.
- Record and verify purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle GST-related accounting and compliance activities, including maintaining relevant records and assisting with GST returns.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, records, and compliance-related activities.
- Conduct ledger scrutiny and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and other accounting reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and supporting records.
- Ensure timely completion of routine accounting activities and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors,



and other stakeholders regarding accounting and payment-related matters.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take appropriate corrective action.
- Support the senior management/accounts team with additional financial and accounting requirements as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Good working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, vouchers, invoicing, and journal entries.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good command of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage accounting records and complete tasks within deadlines.
