The Game Plan: Your Role as Academy Operations Manager

This is a high-ownership, zero-excuses role for someone who loves bringing order to chaos and genuinely cares about delivering a world-class experience — for students, coaches, and venue partners alike. You will be the operational heartbeat of the academy, making sure every court, coach, and class runs exactly as it should.

Here is what your day-to-day looks like:

- Own the courts: Track court utilisation across all venues and make sure every available hour is generating value — through academy sessions or Pay & Play.
- Keep the schedule tight: Publish every coach's weekly schedule on District at least 7 days in advance — no exceptions.
- Drive Pay & Play occupancy: Monitor P&P; slot bookings and work with the team to optimise pricing and app visibility. Low occupancy is a signal, and you will be the first to catch it and act on it.
- Minimise disruptions: Keep session reschedules and cancellations to an absolute minimum. When they do happen, own the communication.
- Resolve venue issues fast: Any court damage, equipment fault,



or facility issue must be fixed within 24 hours. You will be the first call when something goes wrong, and the person who makes sure it does not happen twice.
- Stay on budget: Track operational spend at each venue against budget in real time. Flag overspends early — before they become a P&L; problem. You are the first line of financial accountability on the ground.

Your scoreboard: what success looks like You will be measured on a clear set of KPIs that reflect how well the academy is running. No ambiguity — just results.

Every coach's week must be live on District at least 7 days before it begins

Pay & Play Occupancy Rate

% of P&P; slots booked vs. available on the District app

Who Are We Looking For:

- You have got a bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of experience in operations, sports management, or a fast-paced service setting.
- Bonus points: If you have worked in a sports academy, fitness studio,



or venue operations setup, you are already one smash ahead.
- You are a natural organiser: schedules, systems, and checklists are your love language.
- You are a problem-solver: when something breaks (and things always break), you fix it fast and build a system so it never breaks the same way again.
- You are a communicator: coaches, students, vendors, founders: you know how to talk to all of them clearly and calmly.
- You are data-driven: you track what matters, spot patterns early, and make decisions backed by numbers, not gut feel alone.
- You are tech-comfortable: CRM tools, scheduling platforms, and spreadsheets do not intimidate you. Familiarity with District or similar apps is a plus.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
