Job Summary The Academic In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing the academic functioning of the play school, ensuring high-quality early childhood education, effective implementation of the curriculum, teacher development, and a safe, engaging learning environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, implement, and monitor the preschool curriculum and academic activities.
- Ensure age-appropriate teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
- Supervise teachers and support staff and provide regular academic guidance.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Prepare and monitor lesson plans, activities, worksheets, projects, and assessments.
- Organize academic events, celebrations, workshops, field trips, and parent-engagement activities.
- Monitor children's academic, social, emotional, and developmental progress.
- Maintain academic records and prepare periodic reports.
- Conduct teacher training, meetings, and professional-development sessions.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and development.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, safety standards, and child-protection practices.




- Coordinate with the Principal/School Head on academic planning and daily operations.
- Promote a positive, nurturing, and child-friendly school environment.
- Support admissions, orientation, and other school initiatives when required.
