Role Description The Academic Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing and supporting the academic aspects of Miracle Minds’ child development programs. This role involves planning and coordinating educational activities, aligning academic support with therapy goals, and maintaining structured schedules and documentation for each child.
The Academic
Coordinator collaborates with therapists, teachers, and parents to design and adjust individualized academic plans, monitor progress, and ensure that learning strategies complement each child’s developmental needs. Day-to-day tasks include curriculum alignment, organizing academic resources, conducting academic advising sessions,
and facilitating communication between the educational and therapeutic teams. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of academic frameworks within the center.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education with experience in school or child development settings; relevant degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
- Skills in Curriculum Development and program planning to design, adapt, and align academic content with therapeutic goals and diverse learning needs.
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, families, therapists, and teachers, and to document progress clearly and accurately.
- Experience in Academic Advising and student support, including guiding learning plans, monitoring academic performance, and providing constructive feedback.
- Ability to conduct and apply Research to integrate evidence-based educational practices and stay updated on child development and inclusive education methodologies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, schedules, and documentation with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, child-centered practices and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools and record-keeping systems; prior experience in a multidisciplinary or therapy-based workplace is an advantage.
