- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AC and HVAC systems throughout the hospital.

- Perform regular preventive maintenance of split ACs, cassette ACs, ductable ACs, VRF/VRV systems, package units, and other HVAC equipment.

- Maintain and monitor AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems.

- Ensure proper temperature, humidity, and airflow in critical areas such as ICU, Operation Theatres, isolation rooms, laboratories, wards, and emergency departments.

- Check and maintain chillers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, and associated HVAC equipment, where applicable.

- Diagnose and repair problems involving compressors, motors, thermostats, sensors, capacitors, contactors, control systems, and refrigerant circuits.

- Check refrigerant levels and identify and rectify refrigerant leakage.

- Carry out refrigerant charging and recovery according to safety and environmental procedures.

- Clean and replace air filters, coils, drain lines, blower assemblies, and other HVAC components.

- Inspect ducting, dampers, insulation, diffusers, grills, and ventilation systems.

- Monitor AC performance and ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

- Attend emergency HVAC breakdowns and restore services with minimum disruption to patient-care areas.

- Maintain proper temperature and environmental conditions in areas requiring controlled conditions.

- Record preventive maintenance,



breakdowns, repairs, refrigerant usage, and equipment performance.

- Coordinate with the hospital maintenance team, biomedical department, contractors, and other departments when required.

- Follow hospital safety procedures, electrical safety standards, and HVAC/refrigeration safety practices.

- Use appropriate PPE and secure work procedures while handling refrigerants, electrical components, tools, and equipment.

- Identify potential HVAC problems and recommend corrective or preventive action.

- Assist with installation, commissioning, replacement, and upgrading of HVAC equipment during hospital projects and renovations.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts required for HVAC maintenance.

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), HVAC, or related trade.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

- Experience in hospital or healthcare HVAC maintenance will be an advantage.

- Good knowledge of AC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, refrigeration systems, and HVAC controls.

- Ability to attend emergency breakdowns and work in critical hospital areas.

- Candidates from Thrissur or nearby locations are preferred.

- Should be responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to work in shifts if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
