Job Title: Manager – Finance and Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Controller / Plant Finance Head

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the Accounting function

of our manufacturing organization. The role involves managing accounting operations,

financial reporting, treasury activities, statutory and tax compliance, audit management,

internal controls, and leading the accounting team. The ideal candidate should have

strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience in a

manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and manage the Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate completion

of accounting activities and financial reporting.

 Oversee accounting operations, month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations,

and preparation of financial statements.

 Review the balance sheet to ensure that assets and liabilities are accurately

stated.

 Manage treasury operations, including cash flow planning, banking activities,

liquidity management, and working capital initiatives.

 Review EDPMS and IDPMS closure in a timely manner in compliance with

FEMA.

 Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, tax

regulations, and corporate policies.

 Manage and coordinate statutory audits, tax audits ensuring timely closure of

observations.

 Handle Income Tax assessments, including coordination with tax consultants,

preparation of submissions, and resolution of assessment-related matters.

 Strengthen internal controls, ensure process compliance, and drive

improvements in finance processes.





 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial and accounting

matters and support business requirements.

 Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve functional objectives

and improve operational effectiveness.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and

manufacturing accounting practices.

 Positive understanding of statutory compliance, tax regulations, audits, and Income

Tax assessments.

 Experience in treasury management, cash flow planning, and working capital

management.

 Strong leadership and team management skills.

 Proficiency in ERP systems such as QAD, SAP, or similar platforms.

 Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within timelines.

Preferred Experience

 Chartered Accountant with 5–6 years of post-qualification experience

 Experience in a manufacturing organization with exposure to managing

accounting team, taxation, treasury, and audit functions.

 Experience in managing teams and working with auditors, consultants, and

internal stakeholders.

 Experience in FEMA compliance- EDPMS/ IDPMS closure.
