JOB DESCRIPTION – DESSERT CHEF

Position: Dessert Chef / Pastry Chef

Experience: 1–5 Years preferred

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

CTC: Candidates with higher salary expectations may be considered based on experience, skills, and overall CTC fit.

Location: Kondapur Hyderabad

About the Role

We are looking for a young, talented, and creative Dessert Chef to join our specialty restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have a solid passion for desserts, good knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation, and the ability to create attractive and delicious desserts with consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and present a variety of desserts, pastries, cakes, and plated desserts.
- Develop new and creative dessert recipes suitable for a specialty restaurant.
- Maintain consistent taste, presentation, portion size, and quality.
- Ensure proper food preparation, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.
- Manage dessert ingredients, storage, and inventory efficiently.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry/dessert section.
- Support menu development and seasonal/special dessert creations.
- Stay updated with current dessert trends and presentation techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Diploma/Certificate in Bakery & Confectionery / Pastry Arts is preferred.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, bakery, or pastry kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of dessert preparation and plating.
- Good understanding of ingredients, measurements, baking techniques, and food safety.
- Creative approach to dessert presentation and menu development.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Young and talented chef with a passion for desserts.
- Creative and enthusiastic about experimenting with new dessert concepts.
- Good presentation and plating skills.
- Candidates currently working in premium restaurants, cafés, hotels, or specialty dessert outlets will be preferred.
- Candidates expecting above ₹25,000 may also be considered based on skill level, experience, and overall CTC suitability.
