Role & Responsibility

A. ITI – Operator / Helper

Primary Role: Shop-floor Operator / Helper

Responsibilities:

- Assist in day-to-day fabrication and production activities.
- Support machine operators, welders and fabrication workers.
- Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, assembly and other shop-floor activities.
- Handle and move raw materials, components and finished parts.
- Assist in loading/unloading and material movement.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Support production activities as instructed by the supervisor.
- Maintain discipline and housekeeping on the shop floor.

# Freshers as well as candidates with relevant shop-floor experience.

B. Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Automobile

Primary Role: Machine Operator / Production Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate fabrication and production machines as per work instructions.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Carry out cutting, drilling, grinding, assembly and related activities.
- Perform basic dimensional inspection using measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine operation and report abnormalities.
- Maintain production records and job-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
- Support achievement of daily production targets.
- Minimize rejection, rework and material wastage.
- Follow safety, quality and 5S requirements.
- Support supervisors in day-to-day production activities.

# Diploma candidates with Mechanical, Production or Automobile background.

C. Engineering – Mechanical / Production / Automobile

Primary Role: Engineer – Manufacturing / Fabrication Operations

Engineering candidates may be deployed in Quality, Production,



Vendor Management, Design or Maintenance, depending on their skills and client requirements.

Quality Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection.
- Check components against drawings and specifications.
- Identify quality defects and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection and quality records.
- Support reduction of rejection and rework.

Production Responsibilities

- Monitor daily production activities and targets.
- Coordinate manpower, machines and materials.
- Track production progress and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors.
- Identify production bottlenecks and support improvements.
- Maintain basic production reports.

Vendor Management Responsibilities

- Coordinate with external fabrication, machining and other vendors.
- Follow up on material/component delivery.
- Monitor vendor quality and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate vendor-related technical and quality issues.
- Maintain vendor follow-up records.

Design Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Support preparation or modification of fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate drawing-related issues with production.
- Provide design and technical support to the shop floor.
- Support preparation of basic fabrication details as required.

Maintenance Responsibilities

- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Support breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor machines, tools and shop-floor equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel and external service providers.
- Maintain basic maintenance records.

General Engineering Responsibilities

- Coordinate between Production, Quality, Design, Maintenance and Vendors.
- Prepare basic MIS and operational reports.
- Support process improvement and productivity improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and 5S practices.
- Support the client in achieving production, quality and delivery objectives.
