Job Description (JD):

Position: Pan-Asian Chef

Experience: 5–15 Years

Industry: Restaurant / Café / Hotel

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare authentic Chinese, Japanese, Southeast Asian, and Asian fusion dishes.
- Handle noodles, sushi, dim sum, ramen, stir-fry, rice dishes, sauces, and other Pan-Asian preparations.
- Develop and maintain recipes, portion sizes, presentation, and food quality standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, food preparation, inventory, and wastage control.
- Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Assist in menu planning and introduce new Asian dishes.
- Coordinate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisine.
- Expertise in Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian cooking techniques.
- Good knowledge of ingredients, sauces, spices, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent plating and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Leadership and team-management skills.
