nJob Overview:

NAs the Collections Risk Analyst, you will need to have the ability and drive to identify fraudulent activity and think outside the box.



This position will require you to monitor and review high risk transactions, review reporting for trending analysis and fraud mitigation, interact with external and internal customers to collect on balances owed, and other duties as required in a high pace setting.

NDuties & Responsibilities:

- Monitor reports and identify high risk transactions within the business portfolio.
N
- Manage delinquent customer receivables, negotiates special customer payment plans.
N
- Investigate risk alertswithin the service level agreements to reduce potential revenue losses.
N
- Interact with partners and merchants to collect on balances owed.
N
- Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation.
N
- Drive continual improvements, measurements and automation against critical collection metrics, operational goals and provide key reporting.
N
- Identify impediments orgaps in collections process and work to enhance loss mitigation strategies.
N
- Create and maintain relationships with collection agencies and legal partners to further enhance the collection efforts.
N
- Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for Sr. Leadership.
N
- Handle escalated customer inquiries.
N




- Educate both internal and external partners in risk and fraud best practices.
N

nQualifications:

N

- Bachelors degree preferred
N
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in transaction fraud and/or collections
N
- Working knowledge of fraud detection tools
N
- Self-disciplined, proactive, detail oriented with the ability to think outside the box
N
- The ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, both independently and a team player where sound decisions are made that limit financial loss
N
- Demonstrated analyticaland problem-solving skills
N
- Ability to adapt to change in a continuously growing team and company
N
- Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks

- Effective communicationboth verbally and in writing
