Business Development Executive – Organiser Acquisition WhyNotTrips Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Work Mode: Full-time, On-site
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About WhyNotTrips WhyNotTrips is building a technology-driven travel and experiences platform that connects travellers with trip and experience organisers.
The platform enables organisers to showcase their experiences, manage bookings, and grow their business while giving travellers a convenient way to discover and book trips and experiences.
We are now looking for a Business Development Executive – Organiser Acquisition to help us grow our network of travel and experience organisers.
About the Role This is a hands-on business development and organiser acquisition role .
Your primary responsibility will be to identify relevant travel organisers, reach out to them, introduce WhyNotTrips, help them understand the platform, and convert interested organisers into active partners.
The typical journey will be:
Find Organiser → Instagram Outreach → Call → Explain WhyNotTrips → Onboarding → GMeet Support → Experience Listing → Follow-up → Activation
You will work closely with the founding and organiser-success teams and play an important role in expanding the supply of experiences available on the platform.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable speaking with people, persistent with follow-ups, confident on calls, and enjoys building relationships from scratch.
Key Responsibilities1. Organiser Lead Generation Research and identify relevant travel and experience organisers, primarily through Instagram and other digital channels
Build and maintain a database of potential organisers
Identify organisers based on their destinations, experience offerings, audience, reputation, and potential
Reach out to organisers through Instagram, WhatsApp, phone calls, email, and other relevant channels
Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective organisers
2. Organiser Outreach & Pitching Contact potential organisers and introduce WhyNotTrips
Clearly explain the platform, its benefits, and how organisers can use it to showcase and sell their experiences
Understand the organiser's current business and requirements
Answer initial questions and address concerns
Build trust and maintain professional relationships throughout the onboarding process
3. Organiser Onboarding Guide interested organisers through the registration and onboarding process
Help organisers understand how to use the platform
Follow up with organisers who have started but not completed onboarding
Coordinate with the relevant internal teams when additional support is required
Ensure interested organisers move from lead → registered → onboarded → active
4.
GMeet & Onboarding Support Some organisers may require additional assistance during onboarding.
You will:
Schedule and conduct Google Meet sessions with organisers when required
Walk organisers through the onboarding and listing process
Understand their problems and help resolve onboarding-related issues
Coordinate with the product/technology team when a technical issue needs escalation
Ensure organisers are comfortable using the platform before moving forward
5. Experience Listing & Follow-ups Getting an organiser onboarded is only the beginning.
You will be responsible for following up with organisers to ensure they actually list their experiences.
Follow up with organisers regarding pending experience listings
Help them understand what information, images, pricing, availability, and other details are required
Track pending listings and onboarding tasks
Identify why an organiser has not completed their listing
Remove blockers and coordinate internally where necessary
Ensure organisers progress towards having live experiences on the platform
6. CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate records of organiser leads and conversations
Update CRM or tracking systems regularly
Track outreach, responses, calls, onboarding status, listings, and follow-ups
Maintain a clear pipeline of active and pending organisers
Report daily/weekly progress to the team
Identify patterns in organiser objections and onboarding challenges
What We're Looking ForMust Have 1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, lead generation, telecalling, customer success, onboarding, or a related role
Robust verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable making frequent outbound calls
Confident speaking with business owners, founders, and travel organisers
Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills
Comfortable communicating through Instagram, WhatsApp, phone, email, and Google Meet
Ability to explain products and processes clearly
Comfortable working with targets and activity-based goals
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic digital tools
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Good to Have Experience in:
Travel and tourism
Travel agencies or OTAs
Hospitality
Sales or business development
Partner acquisition
Customer onboarding
Marketplace businesses

Community or creator partnerships
Knowledge of travel organisers, trekking companies, tour operators, experience providers, or travel communities will be an advantage.
The Ideal Candidate You should be someone who is comfortable picking up the phone and starting a conversation with a stranger.
You don't get discouraged when someone doesn't respond to the first message.
You know how to:
Find → Reach Out → Pitch → Follow Up → Solve Problems → Convert
You should be persistent without being pushy, professional in communication, and genuinely interested in understanding the organiser's business.
You should also be comfortable getting on a Google Meet , walking someone through the platform, and helping them overcome problems during onboarding.
Most importantly, you should take ownership of the organiser journey rather than considering your job finished once the first call is completed.
