About Ordoworx

Ordoworx provides residential drawing production, permit documentation, and project coordination for builders, designers, contractors, and interior-design professionals working primarily on U.S. residential projects.

We are looking for an experienced Residential Architectural Drafter proficient in Chief Architect X17 to join our remote production team in India.

Typical Work

- Residential permit drawing sets
- Remodels, additions, and kitchen projects
- Floor plans, elevations, and sections
- Existing / demolition / proposed plans
- Interior elevations, cabinetry, and millwork
- Foundation and framing documentation based on supplied information
- Basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical layouts
- Door and window schedules
- Redline revisions and drawing coordination
- 3D modeling and visualization
- .plan, .layout, .dwg, and PDF coordination

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant residential drafting experience
- Chief Architect X17 proficiency is mandatory
- Ability to work directly with .plan and .layout files
- Experience across Chief Architect X15–X17 preferred
- Robust residential construction-documentation skills
- Accurate dimensions, annotations, and sheet coordination
- Ability to follow sample sets, client markups, and structured instructions
- Reliable communication and turnaround
- Ability to provide editable source files

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, 3D modeling, U.S.



permit sets, or interior/millwork documentation will be considered an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

- ₹40,000–₹55,000 per month, based on experience and demonstrated capability

This is primarily a full-time opportunity, although experienced freelancers interested in recurring project-based assignments are also welcome to apply.
