This is a 6-month, full-time, unpaid internship. Based on performance during the internship, candidates may be offered a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for a full-time, paid role.

About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated React / React Native Developer Intern to join our engineering team full time, remotely. You'll work on building and maintaining features across both web and mobile platforms, collaborating closely with senior developers, designers, and product teams to ship real, user-facing products.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js
- Build and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/SDKs
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with backend developers to define and consume APIs
- Participate in code reviews and daily/weekly stand-ups over video calls
- Test applications on multiple devices/browsers to ensure consistency
- Be available and responsive during standard working hours (full-time commitment)
- Communicate proactively and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Stay updated with the latest trends in React/React Native ecosystem

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding of React.js fundamentals — components, hooks, state, props, lifecycle




- Familiarity with React Native for mobile app development (iOS/Android)
- Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar) is a plus
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them (Axios/Fetch)
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control
- Understanding of mobile app build tools (Expo / Android Studio / Xcode) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of npm/yarn, package management, and build tools (Webpack/Metro)
- Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility
- Ability to commit to the full 6-month, full-time, unpaid internship duration
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Strong self-discipline, ownership, and communication skills to thrive in a remote setup
- A reliable laptop/system and stable internet connection
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Exposure to Next.js
- Knowledge of Firebase or other BaaS platforms
- Familiarity with UI libraries (Material UI, Tailwind CSS, NativeBase)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD or app deployment (Play Store/App Store)
- Prior experience working/collaborating remotely (college projects, freelance, open source)
- Personal projects / GitHub portfolio showcasing React or React Native work
