We are building a dedicated field-sales team to promote and sell a special book connected with the Attukal Pongala festival.

We are looking for confident, energetic and responsible individuals who can introduce and sell the book directly to families, women’s communities and the general public.

Location: Thiruvananthapuram and surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time / Seasonal Field Assignment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct door-to-door book sales in assigned areas

• Introduce and explain the book clearly to potential customers

• Approach women’s groups, neighbourhood communities, residents’ associations, Kudumbashree units, offices and institutions

• Identify bulk-sale opportunities through community leaders and local coordinators

• Participate in promotional stalls and special sales campaigns

• Build local contacts and create repeat sales opportunities

• Collect payments and maintain accurate cash and digital-payment records

• Handle books and promotional materials responsibly

• Submit daily sales, stock and payment reports

• Attend daily or weekly sales-review meetings

• Support and guide temporary sales promoters whenever required

SALES TARGET

• Minimum daily target: 15 books

• Monthly target: 15 books multiplied by the approved number of working days

• Indicative monthly target for 26 working days: 390 books

• Performance target: 450 books or more per month

• Bulk community and institutional orders will be counted towards the target

SALARY AND ALLOWANCES

• Fixed monthly salary: ₹15,000

• Food allowance: ₹100 per approved field-working day

• Travel allowance: ₹2,000 per month

• Additional approved travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy

• Incentive:



₹20 for every book sold above the applicable monthly target

• Performance bonus: ₹2,000 on achieving 450 books in a month

• High-performance bonus: ₹4,000 on achieving 500 books in a month

Performance bonuses are based on slabs and are not cumulative.

EXPECTED MONTHLY EARNING

• Fixed salary: ₹15,000

• Food allowance for 26 working days: Up to ₹2,600

• Travel allowance: ₹2,000

• Sales incentives and performance bonus: Based on achievement

Total earning potential: Approximately ₹19,600 to ₹25,800 or more per month, depending on attendance and sales performance.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Positive communication skills in Malayalam

• Comfortable meeting people and conducting direct field sales

• Ability to communicate respectfully with women’s groups and families

• Previous experience in book sales, FMCG sales, direct marketing, insurance, microfinance or community outreach will be an advantage

• Basic knowledge of WhatsApp and digital payments

• Honest and responsible in handling stock and money

• Willingness to travel within assigned areas

• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence will be an added advantage

• Freshers with confidence and a genuine interest in field sales may also apply

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Six working days per week

• Field-based role with daily reporting

• Initial assessment period: One month

• Food allowance will be paid only for approved field-working days

• Continued engagement will depend on attendance, conduct, reporting and target achievement
