Role Description The Project Design Engineer is a full time role responsible for designing and engineering parking systems that align with HPIPL’s technical, safety, and sustainability standards. Based in Noida in a hybrid arrangement, this role combines on-site collaboration with stakeholders and some work-from-home flexibility for design, documentation, and coordination tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project design concepts, preparing detailed mechanical and electrical layouts, and selecting appropriate components in line with project specifications and standards.

The role also involves coordinating with project managers,



site engineers, and vendors to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely execution, as well as reviewing drawings, performing technical calculations, and supporting installation and commissioning teams.

Engineer contributes to continuous improvement by incorporating automation, innovation, and feedback from completed projects into future designs.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Project Design and Design Engineering, with the ability to translate requirements into practical, buildable solutions.
- Applied Mechanical Engineering skills for structural design, component selection, and system integration.
- Applied Electrical Engineering skills for power distribution, control systems, automation, and safety compliance.
- Project Management capabilities to plan, coordinate, and track design deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in CAD and relevant engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), and familiarity with industry codes and standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable engineering practices.
- Experience in infrastructure, industrial automation, or parking systems design is an advantage.
