Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Floriculturist and Landscaping role based at UNITED UNIVERSITY in Prayagraj. The role involves planning, developing, and maintaining gardens, lawns, flower beds, and ornamental plantings across the campus. The Floriculturist and Landscaping skilled will manage plant selection, propagation, and seasonal displays, as well as oversee irrigation schedules, soil health, and pest management.

Daily tasks include supervising landscape maintenance activities, coordinating with facilities staff, ensuring safe and tidy outdoor spaces, and contributing to campus beautification projects and sustainability initiatives.



The role may also require maintaining records of plant inventories, budgets for landscaping materials, and collaborating with academic and administrative units for special events or projects.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping to manage campus grounds effectively.
Candidates should possess practical expertise in Gardening and Irrigation for plant care, watering systems, and overall garden health.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Landscape Design to plan aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable outdoor environments.
Knowledge of floriculture practices, plant identification, and seasonal planting cycles.
Ability to work in office in varying weather conditions and perform hands-on horticultural tasks.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and safety standards.
Relevant certification or diploma in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
Experience managing institutional or large-scale landscapes will be an advantage.
