Key Responsibilities

Financial Close &
Reporting
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure compliance with Indian GAAP standards.
Prepare and review manual journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and recurring schedules.
Preparation of financial statements, variance analysis (Actuals vs.Budget), and management commentary. E-commerce &
Revenue Accounting
Reconcile marketplace settlements (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, payment gateways like Razor pay/Stripe) against internal order management systems (OMS).
Account for commission costs, promotional discounts, shipping fees, chargebacks, and refund/return reserves.
Manage deferred revenue and accurate revenue recognition timing.

Inventory &
Cost Accounting
Collaborate with supply chain teams to track Inventory (COGS, write-offs, landed cost allocations, and transit stock).
Perform periodic physical inventory vs. book balance reconciliations across fulfillment centers (3PL/FBA).
Compliance &




Audits
Manage Intercompany transactions, adjustments, and balance confirmation exercises.
Ensure compliance with direct/indirect tax requirements (GST, TCS/TDS, Sales Tax).
Act as the main point of contact for internal, external, and statutory audits.

Requirements

Key Qualifications &

Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or CA Iner-mediate Or CA Article completed
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with at least 2–3 years in an e-commerce, retail, or D2C workplace.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP systems and high- volume data handling in Microsoft Excel / SQL.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of payment gateway flows,marketplace fee structures, logistics accruals, and indirect taxation rules.
