- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for Transmission Line, Substation and Power Projects.
- Source and procure project materials including towers, conductors, insulators, cables, hardware fittings, transformers, breakers, isolators and other substation electrical equipment.
- Prepare RFQs, obtain and compare quotations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, Stores and Site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor procurement status from order placement to final delivery.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites as per project schedules.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with stores to avoid material shortages, excess stock and project delays.
- Identify, evaluate and develop suitable vendors and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL).




- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery and service.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved specifications, quality requirements and project standards.
- Prepare Procurement MIS, purchase reports, cost analysis, vendor comparison statements and procurement documentation.
- Support project budgeting, cost optimization and cost-control initiatives.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation agencies for secure and timely movement of project materials.
- Follow up with vendors for manufacturing, inspection, dispatch and delivery of critical project materials.
- Coordinate with inspection/quality teams for material inspection and approval, wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper records of RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, POs, vendor documents, delivery challans and other procurement records.
