Key Responsibilities
Provide

L1/L2 application support for hospital applications and healthcare IT systems.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
Monitor application performance, availability, and system health.
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
Support hospital applications such as

HIS/HIMS, EMR, LIS/LIMS, PACS, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, and clinical applications

.
Handle user tickets, incidents, service requests, and escalations within defined SLAs.
Assist in application configuration, upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.
Support integrations between hospital applications and other systems/APIs.
Work closely with clinical and non-clinical users to understand business requirements and resolve application-related issues.
Perform basic database queries and troubleshooting using

SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL

.
Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, configurations, and support procedures.
Participate in application testing, UAT, release management,



and implementation activities.
Ensure data integrity, system availability, security, and compliance with organizational IT policies.
Provide user training and technical guidance whenever required.

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

.
2–6 years of experience in

Application Support / IT Support / Healthcare IT

.
Valuable understanding of

HIS/HIMS, EMR, LIS/LIMS, PACS

, or other healthcare applications is preferred.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of

SQL and databases

.
Understanding of

APIs, application integrations, and system interfaces

.
Knowledge of

SDLC, incident management, change management, and IT support processes

.
Positive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work with hospital users, vendors, and technical teams.
Healthcare domain experience will be an added advantage.
