Job DescriptionPlant In-Charge / Plant Manager / Production Manager to manage a Cut & Bend Reinforcement Steel Plant supporting high-rise building construction projects.

NKey Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Cut &Bend; plant operations and production.
N
- Plan production based on project requirements and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
N
- Ensure timely cutting, bending, tagging, bundling and dispatch of reinforcement steel to project sites.
N
- Manage plant manpower, machinery utilisation, production targets and productivity.
N
- Monitor steel consumption, material yield, wastage, scrap and reconciliation.
N
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
N
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, BBS/Detailing, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC and Logistics teams.
N
- Monitor machine maintenance and minimise plant downtime.
N
- Prepare production and plant performance MIS.
N





nCandidate Profile

n
- 10 to 20 years ofrelevant experience in Cut & Bend, Rebar/Reinforcement Steel processing or similar plant operations.
N
- Experience in reinforcement steel processing for construction projects, preferably high-rise buildings.
N
- Solid hands-on knowledge of BBS, TMT steel, cutting and bending operations.
N
- Experience managing plant operations, manpower, production, material yield and dispatch.
N
- Candidates from reputedconstruction, real estate, infrastructure, steel processing or reinforcement fabrication companies will be preferred.

- Candidates currently based outside Bangalore but willing to relocate may also be considered.
