About the Role

We are looking for an experienced GG Instructor to join our Mumbai team and deliver high-quality gemological education and practical training to students and professionals. The role will be responsible for classroom and hands-on instruction, ensuring solid technical understanding and adherence to IGI’s academic and gemological standards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct theoretical and practical gemology training for GG/Graduate Gemologist programs.
Deliver sessions on diamond grading, colored stones, gem identification, treatments and grading standards.
Conduct practical demonstrations and guide students through gemological instruments and testing techniques.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical assessments, examinations and projects.
Develop and update training content, presentations, practical exercises and course material.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance and assessments.




Provide mentoring and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
Ensure training delivery is aligned with IGI's curriculum, quality standards and methodologies.
Support workshops, seminars, industry sessions and other educational initiatives.
Stay updated on developments in gemology, treatments, grading practices and industry trends.

Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of diamond and colored stone identification and grading.
Excellent practical knowledge of gemological instruments and testing methods.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and engage diverse learners.

Qualification
Graduate Gemologist (GG) / Diploma or Degree in Gemology from a recognised institution.
Relevant industry experience in gemology, laboratory or gemological education will be preferred.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
