About The Role

Sberbank is looking for a solid professional to develop the Bank’s corporate lending and trade finance operations. The head of Corporate Lending & Trade Finance will lead the development of the corporate lending and trade finance business, working with a team focused on corporate clients and financial institutions. The candidate must focuse on building and strengthening the lending portfolio across residential and commercial real estate, corporate lending, and trade finance, while driving the growth and development of these businesses in the Indian market.

Responsibilities
Strategic development of the loan portfolio in residential and commercial real estate, corporate lending (working capital, capex financing) and trade finance solutions.
Team formation and process optimization in accordance with regulatory requirements and business potential. Involvement in IT system development.
Participation in the credit process from recent business origination, conducting negotiations with potential borrowers and structuring the deals to credit applications approval at Credit Committee,



execution of legal documentation, collateral assessment and subsequent monitoring, reporting to RBI.

Requirements
15 years in banking at managerial positions within Project Finance or Corporate Lending departments. Deep expertize in Trade Finance products is a plus.
Proven practical experience in structuring complex credit deals and international trade finance operations. In-depth knowledge of regulatory rules.
Strategic orientation and market knowledge, ability to assess industry trends and adapt bank strategy to market changes.
Result-oriented; commercial and communication skills.
